Gibby's: A Must-Visit Local Gem in St. Clair, MO for Delicious Food and Family-Friendly Atmosphere

Jess was amazing!! Super kind and was fantastic. The frisco melt was so good. I wouldn’t have tried this without Jess’ recommendation and it didn’t disappoint. Way better than Steak N Shakes frisco melt. Add some bacon to it if you like bacon burgers. The booths could use some updating. And there’s a smoking section for those that like that or don’t. But I noticed the other servers being super great with young kids. Bringing them quarters for the pinball machine and making it a fun experience for them. I would recommend Gibby’s and come back again. Thanks for the great service Jess!

Each time I go here it's the best, the food is always exactly what you ask for, cooked perfectly, and always delicious. Every worker is so sweet even during a rush, and the service is always great no matter how busy. The atmosphere also fits everyone of all ages, due to it being spilt in two from bar and restaurant area.

Great place, great food especially the pizza and the lasagna. Recently went non smoking, I'm a smoker and don't mind. Its super easy to walk straight outside. I also work in a restaurant/bar. Im constantly going back to kitchen to tell cooks to lower volume on their music. I'd say this is my only complaint about gibbys. The music coming from the kitchen is sometimes loud, Lower the volume. No body wants to hear it, it's over powering when your sitting in the bar area. When the music is playing in the restaurant it's pleasant.

Portion size is definitely country style, had the T-bone steak with side salad and broccoli. It has a delish sauce covering the steak I’d prefer on the side so one can see the grill marks on the steak, and broccoli was more than sufficient for a side. One issue I did have is that they allowed smoking indoors. With 2 cigarettes lit you could smell the smoke almost immediately.

Cool local bar in St. Clair - we were greeted by friendly staff when we came in and had a fantastic experience. My wife and daughter shared the taco pizza which was absolutely delicious and I had the tornado burger which was cooked just how I ordered it from our waiter Isaac. This is definitely a local place and was really busy around dinner time, but staff was working hard, friendly, and the food was delicious. We are from out of town or this would be a regular stop for us!

I've been in the past several times. It's always taco pizza for me. Went last week ordered seafood platter and grandson had pepperoni pizza. The fish was fine, the shrimp tasted funny- not fresh, the jalapeño hish puppies were good, the fries were ENTIRELY to salty. My friend didn't eat any of hers, we ate a small handful. I would go again, but bland.
